Cindy has been a licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-R) in private practice for over 25 years.
Cindy has spent years guiding clients through all types of experiences in life, traversing challenges and helping her clients discover how to move through and around the dilemmas that we all have to face from time to time. It’s comforting to have a non-judgmental approach, a friendly style which is open and engaged with helping you to solve some of these problems.
She specializes in:
- Mental health
- Mood issues
- Relationship difficulties
- Stress-related behaviors
- Communication breakdowns
She focuses on teaching new skills and reflecting on what is working and what is not working in your life. She is solution-focused, uses cognitive behavioral skills to harness some of the negatives, and challenges you to step up and regain control of what is YOUR life.
She is a compassionate listener who understands that everyone has a story to tell about their triumphs and adversities, how people helped them along the way, and others who perhaps hurt them. Through it all, we begin to make sense of who you are, what impacted you and we’ll learn how you want to integrate those experiences into your life story. We’ll be listening for those strengths that reside within you.
And so it is with therapy, we must devote the necessary time and struggle to identify how we really feel and what we really think about our lives, the direction we’re headed, the people who orbit around us and their impact on our lives.
